does anyone kno how to tell weather my 88 ranger 2wd has a 2.0 or a 2.3? its not the original motor so i dont know. an anyways another problem is it hits like maybe 55 an starts jumpin around an stuttering an the gas peddle sinks an truck isnt goin anywhere then it will take a min or two to get where it will accelerate again ! i dunno wat it is an its kinda hit an miss but on a good day it still wont go over 60

Unless it has been changed, if it is a 2.0, it will have a carburetor. The 2.3 uses fuel injection. Which system do you have? shady

oh yea my bad it has a single barrel carb on it the trucks original motor had fuel injection then they put in this one an it doesnt
