91 explorer 4.0 - new computer is giving me code 14"The electronic control assembly (eca) has detected an intermittent loss of profile ignition pick-up(pip) signal during recent operation." according to my code scanner book and "14 Ignition pickup was erratic - Ignition Systems" according to the trs tech library

i have put a new crank sensor on before this, where would you guys start on this problem? or has anyone else seen this?

Okay, it was the ignition control module causing my hard start and code 14, but now I have code 16(koeo) and 18(memory) any ideas?

to all who care... the sorce of my problem was the ICM (ignition control module) As i said before, i replaced it with an autozone $160 piece of junk and got it to start but was still gitting codes... so i stopped by the junk yard and got one for $15 and installed... starts and no codes other than all is good (code 11) in koeo,koer, and also memory... after over a year since i smoked the 2.9 i can finally enjoy my little ford again. does anyone have an idea on how many mpg i should expect? 4.0, fm146, 4.56 gears with 33 at's thanks
