i recently changed out my original 3.0.i found a supposed 1999 3.0 from a front wheel drive ford,it turned out to be a 1992,no problem,it was a bran new engine.original,still had green break in oil,original plugs and oil filter.i had to swap out everything including bottom half of oil pump,oil pan, head gaskets ,timing chain cover,all intake and exhaust everything.my only problem is i could not get the cam sensor positioned correctly,witch produced a check engine light. code=misfire.anybody know of an easy way to position crank sensor,without special tool from ford?
