engine and trans removal

Ive got a 4.0 with the 5r55 tranny, 2wd. my question is once I remove the front accessories can the motor and trans be pulled as a unit? Oh its a 97 btw
 
Possible, generally more trouble than it is worth. Helps to remove the grille and radiator.
 
radiator is out, its down to the core support. I need engine and tranny work so they both need to go.
