You guys probably don't know, but I collect emergency lights. I like the older stuff. The older the better. As a retired State Trooper, I actually have every version of lightbar used by the Highway Patrol, as well as each style I used as a Police Officer and Security Officer before becoming a Trooper.

I also have a small collection of dash and deck lights.

If you have any on your vehicle, or just laying around, show us what you have.

This is my only emergency light.

Not exactly vehicle mountable.

So cleverly disguised as a cell phone.

I tell you what though Jim, that little LED is uses for the camera flash paired with a flashlight app... that thing will go toe to toe with the best flashlights I have ever owned, and I always have it with me. I don't always carry a pocket LED.

Oh, and that phone it's disused as meets U.S. Mil-STD 810F specifications for dust, humidity, rain, and shock. Also, if I really felt like it, I could just chuck it in my drink, come back an hour later, and have it still work. I used it to put my power train back together during my 4.0 swap. I shut it in a hood at work. All it has is a few scratches on the back plate.

Let's see your iPhone do that.

ADSM which phone model is that? After 3 phones I think I need something a bit weatherproof LOL.

Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro.

Jim, I've got a few hide-away strobes with cables I thought about getting rid of, I have an old 6 rotator mx7000 bar with 2 sets of takedown lights, red lenses, but it needs replacement lower lenses. I've been thinking of selling all my strobe stuff to upgrade to LED. I'll get a few pics of my other lights that are still on my truck, which consist of a whelen 12 strobe lightbar with takedowns, alleys and flashers, five 9" LED strips, a twin strobe dash unit similar to the deck-visor, two single strobe grille lights, two hide-away strobes, and LED strobe controllers operating the rear LED bulbs in the tail/reverse lights...

I need to find a few Jetsonic domes. I bought a Jetsonic for cheap, but it needs a set of decent domes.

Eventually I'd like to get a Twinsonic, and a mini Aerodynic.

It's no wonder I'm bald, everyone is always talking over my head....
how about some pics to go with the descriptions.

Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro.

Nice phone. Just looked up the specs on it. $500 range price tag but far better than the iPhone. Thanks.

I'll keep an eye out for them, Jim. I think we have a few jetsonics in service, I'll see if we have excess parts. I know they won't be blue lenses though, only clear or red. Would you be interested in the mx7000?

Would you be interested in the mx7000?

No. I have:

(1) All red with inboard strobes, outboard rotator, and rare center oscillator (not the traffic clearing light, the 'wobble' type).

(1) With red & blue lenses, center clearing light, rear traffic arrow, and intersection sweeps that will rotate forward and lock in place as stationary takedowns.

(1) All clear with center speaker cover and red and blue filters for the rotators.

And I have all the parts for an all blue MX7000. I even have (4) blue trays for the sweeps (corners) for an ALL BLUE bar (still have to put it together).

The only way I would build another MX is if I could come up with the lenses/filters to make it all green.

I don't think it would be terribly hard to build, get some strobe lights some plexi glass, some sheet metal and brackets, then something for the power supply and get it all put together.

I have 2 Dual Head LED Dash Lights for my trucks (Blue for Volunteer FF in NY) , and i have my dads old Code 3 Dual Rotator halogen Blue Light from when he was a firefighter. I just threw out a Whelen 48" halogen light bar plus all the red and clear covers , and last year i threw out a Code 3 3000 48" light bar.
