Does anyone know if some company out there makes an electronic locking hub of some kind? I was thinking of this for a high pinion Dana44 (or 9-inch), but also for Ranger axles.
Thanks

Well the reason I would like to go with auto hubs is because I have an electronic T-case, so it would seem like defeating the purpose of the electronic T-case if I have manual hubs, if that makes sense?
The auto hubs on my dads '96 Bronco were good, never had a problem with them, but it was an auto tranny (my trnasmission is also an auto in the ranger).
Does anyone know of a different style that is as reliable as a manual hub?
There is only one style you can use. The OEM hubs off another truck similar to yours.
Yours are PVH, which are either working or not working. There is now aftermarkets available to switch out to manuals.
Correct, mine currently are a pulse vacuum hub (they do not work at the moment). However, I was refering to ones for a high-pinion Dana 44 (the style that you mentioned earlier) or 9-inch mainly, I only mentioned Ranger alxes originally so if someone else wondering the same thing could have their question/thought answered as well.
Sorry about the mix-up.
