I don't mean to sound dumb but I'm horrible at electrical except stereo's. so few questions looking at led tail lights I know I need a electric flasher has anyone done this ?? Wondering if jeep yj flasher will work? Second question thanks to my son my gauges took a crap so looking into aftermarket. Do I have to use the original wiring for the the ecu to get the info ??

You don't need to use the stock wiring because the only sensor in question that the computer needs to see is engine temp, and the sensor for the computer isn't the same one that the gauge uses.

What did he do to kill your gauges?

Pulled the dash apart to knock out windshield. He got the off and snapped the needles off. Gotta love 4 yr olds

Get the generic electronic flasher module from a parts store. Dunno about the Jeep one, maybe?

Do you need a set of factory gauges? I have a few laying around, tach and non tach. PM me if you can't find any or decide not to go aftermarket.
