I have a 1996 Ranger Splash 4.0L V6. I just put a new alternator in the truck but I have an extra yellow and white wire that comes from or to the junction box that, I assume goes to the under the hood fuse box or from/or to the PCM. I don't know where it goes but I don't think the alternator is charging even with a new alternator and a new battery. I need help bad. I'm ready to pull my hair out or blow the truck up.

Can anybody help me with this problem?

Patience, please. We know you need help. But we are all just regular people here, with jobs and lives, volunteering to help each other as we can.

Anyway. Here is the charging system wiring diagram from 1993. It should be the same or similar enough to help you out. This shows the yellow/white wire going from a 15amp fuse to the regulator in the alternator. I'm not sure what junction box you are referring to.
