Hi all, First post here!!!

I have a 94 Mazda B4000 4x4, Tonight I turned on the headlights and I had not dash lights and my abs light is blinking. So I pushed the headlight knob in a hair and the headlights went off but the dash lights came on then the headlights came on. Then everything started flickering so I just pulled out the headlight switch like normal and the headlights stayed on but no dash lights, then I noticed I have no tail or brake lights. If I push the headlight switch in a hair then the tail/brake lights work. When I got home I messed around a little and if I have my lights off I have no brake lights, and my abs light blinks 12 times the stays on for 2 seconds then starts blinking again.

Does anyone have a clue to what is going on?

Check Ground 103 by seeing if your reverse lights come on.

Otherwise, I can't connect all your symptoms, just a bad headlamps switch and perhaps its connector melted.

It's always a good idea to clean up the grounds under the hood (inner fenders and rad support). A corroded tail light socket is always a possibility.

I just checked and the reverse lights do come on!

Headlight switch has had a melt down. Pretty common.

Not sure if the ABS thing is related or just a coincidence.

Thanks much, I will get a headlight switch tomorrow and let ya know!!

My right headlight started problem one week ago, whenever I start it doesn't go on their on but when I hit bump it gets started. I am not getting, whats going on, Please help.

petermorgan. The harness that goes into the clip is probably melted. If i were you id also replace the headlight switch because the contact points in the switch are probably corroded and groady. The only parts store that i have found that sells OEM is Autozone. Everyone else has a cheezy aftermarket switch and clip that will not mount that i can tell onto your dash.
Hope that helps.
Good Luck
