Hey all,

anyone running an electric water pump in there trucks? if so, how much room did you gain in the front of the motor for electric fan? V-belt or serpentine?
and does the pump have heater hose outlets?

cheers thanks

Then separate motor probably wouldn't help since pulley would stay in pretty much the same place.

Not sure on the depth of those pumps, just have to get dimensions, looks like that one in the picture has heater hose/bypass port

It looks pretty bulky to me.

Is the explorer 5l pump any shorter? If it is perhaps Ron's idea would work.

will look into the 5 explore floored thanks

smallest i was able to find was a moroso electric pump that was 5" deep. Other option I was reading about was remote pumps plumbed in and just hoses in and out from the block.... interesting but probably only practical for the drag strip. However, from a different thread I was able to locate a bit of my problem....

I think my motor is sitting too far forward in the frame and needs to be reset back about 1-2 inches, this explains why I am having probs fitting different rad and fan ideas in there.

thanks for the help and ideas. cheers
