Me and couple guys from here went for a nice run today, although we lost one rig in battle... Damn auto hubs.

LoanRanger (the FordZuki buggy), his dad (exo-caged Ranger), Stumpy (Bronco II) and my self (the 3rd gen), headed up to Elbe today. Stumpy blew an auto hub shortly into the day, so he left early. Then us 3 continued on, went down a few trails, and had a good time in the snow, and alittle mud.

I got to test out my winch (didn't HAVE to, I just wanted to make sure it worked, before I NEEDED it).

Time for the pics. My buddy who rode with me took a tone of pictures and video using his camera, so I will have those some time this week, maybe Monday. And I'm sure the other guys will upload a bunch of pics too.

And I made it through the day without breaking anything. :headbang:

Well, I'll probably need ujoints after that bout with the trailer. :icon_twisted: but nothings "broke"

Oh, and you forgot about stumpy's manifold. :shok:

Only the passenger's side was off the ground. The frame was resting on a big rock on the passenger's side, which is why that tire is up. And is also what kept him from going forward anymore.

Ok, here's some vids, in no particular order. Some are me just messing around with the new camera, while riding shotgun for a short while. They're all on photobucket, so just click the picture for the video.

Damn. I need to check the pnw forum more often... I missed out.

I'm not positive, but I htink it got hit by the rock that his frame rail landed on, and it busted it right off from the rest of the exhuast. I think it basicly just broke the flang off the back of it, so all the exhuast was going out at the bottom of the manifold, rather than out the exhuast. It was kind loud, :icon_confused:.

Jeez photobucket is slow sometimes. :annoyed:

the last of the vids.

And yes, I think it's time for more powerpunch...:icon_twisted:

Did you have a little "trailer over the edge of the road" thing going on by Lake Kapowsin? We noticed that the LJ all the sudden jolted/ leaned to one side on the trailer.

You guys were haulin' ass home, lol.

I'm sure the trailer was swingin all the way home. Haha. I was thinking to myself on the way home, that if the LJ weren't there, I could probably drift the trailer through corners a little better.:D

Between the huge dropped hitch, and all the bodyroll of the LJ, it does that quite a bit on uneven roads. This is one reason I don't like to tie off to the axle, because of the bodyroll. Before I got the winch, I wrapped the two straps around the front crossmember, and the chain in the back where it is now, and never had a problem. Once I put the winch on, I had to start tying to the axle in the front, so the body sways side to side on the suspension. Basically, I just need to add a couple D rings to the front bumper, and I'll be set again. That, and I've been thinking of ways to reinforce the drop hitch, maybe triangulating back the the framerails or something......
