Ive never been to Elbe hills, but im looking to hit up the 3rd annual snow run the 22nd, and I was wondering if there was anybody from here that was planning to attend??

I presume that is in Washington.

i know that year I got the Mustang from you we both had some heavy snow.
I was up in 3 feet of snow on Friday of some very heavy mix.

The full size trucks were not getting up hill very well , even the diesel Dodge and Chevy .
I was able to get on top of it and play for a while.

It was a good thing my buddy had a winch , he had to use my Ranger to hook on to and pull his full size GMC out .
I sure do like these new Cooper Mud Claws.

They are a 32x11.5x15 that measure on the truck with 35 lbs air at 31 1/4 tall

Yeah, Im gonna try and have a locker in the 8.8 by then... maybe ill have some jeep springs in the front too :)

I've never been to Elbe, but I'd definitely like to go if I can get my axle swap done in time, and a couple other minor things.

I've heard those are tight trails. HahnsB2, can you say anything more about it? Pics would be cool too if you've got any :icon_thumby:

EDIT: nevermind, just saw the link.

Elbe is tough! have a good time and be careful. watch some youtube videos

Won't be making it, am gonna be putting in my lift before I go out again.

The trails at elbe can be tough in places, at times, even without snow.
Without at least 1 locker, and a decent set of tires, then I doubt you'll be
going down much of any trails with snow.

And about how tight the trails are, I would EXPECT body damage with a
extended cab/ long bed. But a regular cab or Bronco II, it is just likely, haha
My Ranger has kissed quite a few Elbe trees.

Unless Your rig is "trail raped" and you dont care about body damage/
breaking, then SKIP the Busy Wild. I've never been down it, but i've heard it
is very tight with lots of stumps, trees, roots, and ruts.

I'm not too interested in doing damage, and the Ranger needs work, so I'll
probably pass this trip up.

I used to wheel a '92 longbox Ranger. 1 trip down the "Busy Wild" and I no longer was araid of body damage :thefinger: there was nothing left that was straight :icon_rofl:

i was thinking about going but i dont want to go to elbe tell i have a locker

ya not welding the dif on my DD lol i need to get an 8.8 and an aussie locker

Im gonna go with the Spartan locker, hopefully I can get ahold of one before the 22nd... or Im gonna weld mine up.

Totalled, you hittin it up??
