I have a 1991 2.3 ranger with an the EGR tube that runs to the exhaust manifold. I recently bought a set of shorty headers off a mustang to replace my stock manifold, but I noticed it doesn't have the egr hook up, any advice on what I should do? I run 93 octane fuel all the time, so I am not sure pinging or knocking would be a big issue. Would it be ok to just plug the pipe or clamp on an air filter? I live in SC, no inspections here to worry about. Any help will be appreciated. Also, could I just use my stock manifold gasket for the header?
