all of this is now cut off i will get you more pics this weekend

I'm not a big fan of dropped trucks either but I can still recognize that the builder went through a lot of work and dedication to make his truck look like that. And that's something I think most everyone can appreciate. And if you still don't like it just stare at the shiny motor. Shiny things make people happy.

It isn't really that low. It's surely an air-bagged body drop. they can be driven. And 2wd trucks should be lowered. Lifting a 2WD is like putting 5.0 decals on a 4cyl mustang. Just plain poserish.

And yet my friends 2wd with a locker out performs most 4x4's on any given trail.
Don't talk about what you don't know.

And NcRanger, that trucks lookin' pretty good. I just called you out on it because some people on here talk high and mighty.. but really have no clue what they're saying. You on the other hand pass the test. :D
But that still doesn't change how I feel about lowered trucks. I know how much work is involved and how much the person who built it cares for it, but personally, I don't at all.
Although I wouldn't mind dropping a first gen and swapping in a 302 to leave some sporty S10's in my dust.

Put a locker (what a whopping $300?) in a 4x4 and that 4x2 would look utterly helpless. Having the engine sitting over the wheels provides a ton of traction as opposed to a typically empty pickup bed, and having powered steer wheels doesn't hurt either. Sure you can wheel them, but unless you are high speed racing they are far from ideal offroad.

^ the only reason a 2 wheel drive should be lifted IMO... unless your just after the lifted look then thats your thing... and the only reason i called ya out is because i see this stuff all the time, people bashing a vehicle and dont have any sorta room to be doing it... plus i was at work and in a bad mood haha sorry dude

Haha, next time I have something that I think is kinda funny Ill just keep it to myself. I didn't mean to set so many people off and I apologize for bashing. I do not really dig lowered trucks in general because of the culture that sometimes gets tagged along with it (the whole spinners, big chrome rims, g-unit deal) but Im not saying its all like that and to be honest some of those trucks really are impressive in more than one way such as fabrication and body work and I do give props to the builder.

Also my feelings come from the fact that many of the streets I live by are cratered and a truck like that wouldn't be able to drive straight without being gutted. I just see the truck as a useless thing in my application, but if the builder/driver live in a flat area with lots of sun and nice weather to just cruise around town and look good then thats cool too. I like stuff I can get dirty and its cheap and fun.

its ok.. i dont get whats so great is that just a 4cyl?

haha its cool man, and g-unit people drive suv's lol not mini-trucks... alot of people only bag their trucks for the "look"... but me the only reason im bagging the dodge is because i wanna ride like a caddy... and once i get so more time and money i will probley go mustang II in the front and have bags all around

Appears to be bagged and bodydropped. Body work and paint look to be done very nicely.

I used to be the same way, lowered trucks didnt do much for me, but my brother bagged his ranger and since I could see what was done and the cool stuff about it, it changed my mind. Its still not my cup of tea, but I wouldnt mind trying to build one when my other project is done.

NC Ranger, I would like to see some of that when its done, looks like its going to be sweet!

Hell, my old 2WD Ranger was lifted and did decent off road, but I didnt push it because the whole missing front axle thing :)

What i don't know? What happens if you mod the 4x4 the same way? If we want to be straight in a comparison then the 4x4 needs a locker too. 2WD off-road trucks are for amateurs or posers. When you have driven Rubicon in a 2wd, come talk to me. (I have done it in a 4x4 3 times) What were you saying about what you don't know again?

And most 4x4's? What are you counting? Subaru's.

My brothers old Subaru's a beast. and thats AWD, not 4x4.

Arguing on the internet is retarded.

If you don't like it thats fine, but there's no use in starting a pissing match over it.

I know that, hence why I asked if you were counting them among the many "4x4"'s that your buddies 2wd Ranger can out perform. Oh, thanks. :D
