Where do you find a reliable TPS & Idle air control sensor? The ones from advance auto seem to go out more often than expected and my Ford dealer cannot get this sensor anymore from Ford. :annoyed:

Oh and just for curiosity, doesn't the ECC supposed to send trouble codes when the idle air control sensor is unplugged mine don't??

it depends on what test you are running, KOEO test probably wouldn't pick it up.

well with the IAC unplugged and the truck running it will not send a code and it doesn't idle to erratic. I can hold the throttle open a little and it will not lope like it does with the sensor plugged in...kinda confusing.

if that is the case the IAC is probably gummed up or burned out, you can try cleaning it and if that doesn't do it, replace it.
