does anyone know if the block on a carbureted 84 2.3l is the same as a 92 efi 2.3l just wondering thinking bout doing a efi delete. as a project just to see if i can. i hate the efi system and ive seen a couple videos on youtube of ppl doing it. just not sure. i like the carb better cause i can tune it to idle a lil lower than normal and does anyone sell a after market header for this engine?

The block is the same and headers are easy enough to find but ive found the newer stock manifolds to be just as good

Speedway and Esslinger both sell tons of "go fast goodies" for the Lima engines.

Like... High flow carburetor manifolds, headers, camshafts, timing components, valve covers, timing guards, adjustable timing belt sets, pulleys, blah blah blah.

There's way more power in that engine than you'd think.

ive seen some with 500hp+ but im just getting the carb and stuff outa junkyard. the intake looks like i can just bolt the carb to the lower half of it. however does anyone know why theres a sticker on the throttle body that says do not clean?
tho i need a car to go to UTI so i might just sell it and get a 240sx i found. i dont know yet.
