EDIS Ground

Does the EDIS module need to be mounted for it to work? As in does it ground through the bolts?

No, it doesn't need chassis ground for case, although it does have a ground wire and that needs to be grounded, and that may be done with a short wire from connector to case bolt threaded to engine/rad support

Turned out not to be a ground but decayed wiring on the crank sensor. Thanks though!
