Hi, as I said somewhere I' m a newby with a 1993. Ranger with 72500 miles on, at least that what the dealer told me. I looked up the truck on car fax, the mileage was correct but it had a V6, mine has a 4. The only thing I can think of is the V6 gave up and it sat for a while before the 4 was put in. The truck seems very tight, doesn't t rattle at al.
I hope this where I am suppose to vent, hope so.

PS. I have looked through some of the posts and I guess I have a 2.5 or something. I'm too old to look under the hood like I did when I was younger, I now put gas in it and take it to a mechanic. Thanks again.
