What year rangers use what ECU?? I need to put a 94' model engine in a 96' for someone, will it work or will I have to switch in the 94' ECU?

if you can find a 95+ motor it will completely bolt in, with the 94 motor you are going to have to completely swap ALL of the wiring in the 96 to the 94 wireing to swap it from OBD2 back to the old OBD1. I would say look around a bit more and find something that is from 95-01
