takes more than 10 dollars to do the things they claim. you could do the same ting for 25 cents if you knew what wire to put the resistor on. The problem with these things is that not only do they not work, the do damage to computers and other components. run (don't walk) as fast and far as you can from them. you want a real power upgrade then swap to a bigger engine or forced induction. you want your engine to run better then do a tune up.

They work kinda, but there is a serious flaw. They are simple resisters that trick the computer into thinking that the engine is always cold. That puts the timing and fuel mapping in a more favorable position for power when the engine is hot. Problem is it is terrible for your plugs, catalytic converters, cylinder heads and in many cases the computer itself.
If you really want to try this get a 24 ohm resistor from radio shack and put it in the signal wire from your CTS. Then PAAAALLLEEEAASE take it out before you ruin something.

this is true. All it takes is a <$1 resistor to do the job these ebay items claim. But its definitely a "track only" sort of modification. I would just find a more legit method for getting power.
