I can't be the only one dealing with this.
I did the disk swap on my EB axle, using 78 knuckles. As a result I have the worst camber ever. A buddy of mine did a similar swap in his YJ, with the same result. And just now I was checking out the 93 ranger sas, in the tech library, you can visually see it there too.
My research found that the EB was built with positive camber, to compensate for ball joint wear and or play tolerance. Modern balljoints have no tolerance or wear, when they get loose, they are shot(excluding Dodge trucks).
I found a company called Ingalls, they sell a billet aluminum shim that goes behind the spindle, to fix it.
That's all for now... Just thought it post something, seeing as how my truck ate my swampers, and Procomp m/ts. Are people just to proud to admit the issues with their work...
Kinda like how I spent over 1.5 hrs at Advance Autoparts, figuring out what pressure line goes on the Saginaw pump swap. FYI, '85 F-150 4x4 5.0.
Small rant over, now please complete swap and build threads.
Happy Wrenching!
