I recently picked up a '79 Bronco big bearing 31spl 9".

I'm sending it out to be cut down to EB dimensions, but what are they?

I know WMS-WMS is 58", and Axle flange-Axle flange is 46"

But are the axles the same length? Is the Diff cross-pin perfectly centered in the axle?

I've found that my factory 28spl 8.8's pinion is 1 3/4" off-center to the right, I'm assuming the EB is offset too. But does that even matter?

All BS aside what other dimensions to I need to tell the guy cutting my rear? I wanna be able to buy and use aftermarket EB 31spl shafts.

I really need good answers ASAP. I need to drop this axle off to get it cut down this weekend.

Perhaps call Moser or somebody else that makes aftermarket shafts...maybe they can tell you.
