I have been searching but have not found a direct answer. I am getting ready to do a EB44 swap to my 89 b2 in the next 2-3 weeks. I have a 302 under the hood so I was thinking about running Eb coils. I am looking to get 4-6 inches of lift probibly closer to 6. What size lift EB coils would I go with? Btw all I do is play in the mud and drive it on the street I dont do any crawling.

I got about 7" of lift out of 3.5" superlift standard rate coils, stock coil buckets, and a 302 v8 no winches or any heavy bumpers. Truck is a 84 Ranger std cab shortbed. If you want a really nice ride go with Deaver Superflex coils, they come in many sizes.

the 3.5 coils where they for a EB or a f150? Also what all did you have to do to your stuck coil buckets to hold the coils? besides putting a clamp on the top to keep from popping out?

Early Bronco 3.5's. Just trimmed and bent a few of the outer tabs, its pretty simple once you get the coil up in there you can see exactly what to do. The 3 tabs in the back of the coil buckets hold the coil from coming out, i put 2 hose clamps on the outeres for assurance but the tabs do all the work if you position the coil correctly..PM me if you wanna know more

If you want some really good flex go with the deaver superflex Early Bronco coils, but make sure you run dual front shocks and a good stabilizer setup..the coils are really flexy. They wont fit in the Ranger buckets very well..already tried it..thus why i went with standard rate coils (not as big in diameter, fits in Ranger buckets without much work at all.

Do you have a link for those Deavers?? I'm doing a 3/4 D44 build now with a good bit of lift (10+") for some stupid rediculously flexing suspension
