Easy ways to gain a little power on a 4.0?

I have to say the easiest and biggest bang for the buck that gives significant gains is a tuner to reflash the computer. The key here is having the right tune. Some of them do nothing or very little. It by no means come close to a supercharger but is way less complicated and costly.

I have done other mods that may work with the reflash but by themselves provide little to no improvement.

Why!? Has nobody mentioned shorter tires? Cheapest way to better acceleration. Which is what most people really want if they are honest.

I should have; many years ago swapped factory 255.70r16.AllSeason tires to smaller 245.70r16.MudSnow tires on same rims\wheels.
Improved LoEndTorq & WinterTraction.
With 4.10 differentials, truck in 4wLo will plow snow up icy 8% grades without touching gas.
Young meatheads don't like this though, it don't mix with fantasies of monster tires crawling over 6ft boulders.
