My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I was able to attend an event this weekend called #Overland The Red, arranged by a group called #Northology. Basecamp was Callie's Lake Campground at Bowen, Kentucky, in between Slade and Stanton. This overlanding event was aimed at enjoying the Red River Gorge area.

It was beautiful. About a week past peak fall colors . There was still a lot of color in the trees. The reason I'm sharing this here is that it could be an excellent venue for a TRS event. Callie's Lake Campground is well suited for hosting group events and they do so throughout the year.

There are many sites to see in the area - scenic roads, both over and unpaved, hiking trails with beautiful views, Natural Bridge State Park, Cumberland Falls, zip lining, kayaking, underground kayaking, a nearby ORV Park and more. This location would easily accomodate us having an event for ALL RBV's, both 4x4 and RWD. There are things accessible to all.

So, give it some thought. It's a little bit further to drive for the northern folks, a bit closer for Southern folks and Jim. But with activities to suit anyone. I'll be posting a trip video later.

Took the quads to an offroad park in eastern KY back in 2019. It was an awesome ride but some of the hardest riding i ever did lol.

Thanks, Justin, for deleting my double posting. My internet signal got real sketchy last night. Weird stuff was happening.
