E-fan convertion

Not me!

http://www.therangerstation.com/Magazine/Summer2003/ElectricFanInstall.htm

So am i correct in thinking i have to drive around with my a/c on all the time for this? And this conversion will work on my 97 correct?

I wouldn't advise anyone to do this modification that doesn't intend to use a snorkle and drive in deep water..
Now that said I will answer the question asked. There should be a one-way device in the wireing provided that will allow the a/c to turn the fan on BUT the fan cannot turn the a/c on. Although I've never installed one of these fans that addition would be significant to the install of the fan.

The "power gain" is an illusion as you are only going to see aany small atvantage in a very narrow set of specific circumstances.
