has anyone modded their 3.0 at all and done a dyno test? i ordered a set of 1.7 roller rockers but im waiting till i get my headers and catback before i put them on. then someday ill get a tuner too. just curious as to what some of you guys are putting out.

Mostly they are putting out more NOISE and little else from those mods you speak of..
Without headwork, cam/tuner work little can be actually made with them mods. In this little engine more rpm will be needed to make more horses! That will be at the sacrifice of low rpm power.. So around town driving will be a beast without sevierly lowering the axle ratio.

I'm curious too. If someone took the time to dyno before and after a K&N install and post it, I'd like to think someone with the time and money to do the roller rocker conversion and headers could do a dyno.

Wow... someone picked up over 11HP and 11lb/ft just with a different MAF and a tune?

The 04+ trucks have a much smaller MAF than older 3.0's, and it's integrated into the upper airbox. He upgraded to a larger MAF, an air intake, and a custom tune all @ the same time, so 11hp doesn't seem ridiculous when you take all of that into account.
