I noticed that the front wheels of my truck have dust caps (metal domes) on the wheel hubs, but the rear wheels don't have any dust caps. Is this how it should be, or should all four wheels have dust caps?
The front wheels have caps to keep dirt out of of the bearings and their grease in. Since there are no exposed bearings at the rear wheels (they are inside the axle and sealed that way) you don't need a dust cap at the rear wheel.
