85 ranger 4X4, Stove pipes damaged or missing includeing cat. I intend to do the duraspark conversion on a budget. I am trouble finding doner rigs at the local bone yard. Will the ignition parts work if the doner has a inline 6?

As long as its a duraspark ignition it'll work preferably with blue plastic piece

+1 on the module with the blue grommet with two plugs one two wire and one 4 wire and any 2.8 dizzy from a late 70s pinto, mustang II, capri with the V-6 will work and you can just use your stock carb and coil. If you want a non feedback carb a motorcraft/autolite 2100 or 2150 with the 1.08 or smaller venturi will work also. Wiring the 85 can be a little tricky and if it has overdrive you need to find a way to switch it the tech library gives you the options. I think I paid about $120 for a new distributor, adaptor, cap and rotor from autozone.
