Can someone please explain in detail how to wire the Duraspark II ignition utilizing the factory harness as stated in the tech articles? I'm easily confused :dunno:

I'm sure I could figure it out given enough time but I'd rather just have it so I can dive right into it after work this week. Thanks a lot!

Duraspark II or duraspark? I believe there is a difference what color is the grommet on the module you have. It needs to be blue for the wiring diagram in the tech library. There are two plugs one 2 wire and one 4 wire? It is easier to use a internally resisted coil to eliminate the start circuit for the coil. Does you engine have a iron or steel cam the gear on the distributo must be matched with your cam? Have you bought parts? You can get the 1 wire HEI distributor and makes wiring yippie skippie.

Yarded entire motor and ignition out of a 1984 Full Size Bronco which should be the II, right? That damn resistor wire is what's spooking me out!
