" dumb ranger mod questions '

i have been on here for about 45 minutes and cannot find some of the answers i am looking for. i want to do some mods like the explorer over head console/lighted mirrors/dimming mirror mod and don't know the years that will work for my 2000 ranger. i saw the ad and how to di it but what years of explorer will work for the installation in my ranger.....another question is cleaning the MAF....does it really help?.......what about intakes? i am kinda pro and con to the intakes. i have a 3.0l and would like a few more pony's. would a cheap lil intake work and would i actually feel and notice a difference? one more question is what is the average mpg's i should be getting on an easily driven 3.0l? thanks for any input on these issues.

Cleaning the mass air flow will help a little bit, but get the right cleaner to do it, do not use brake cleaner. Oh add stickers they add 10HP each. LOL.And you are about to stir up a hornets nest with the cold air intake, regearing or supercharge it for more power/milage or for the 3.slow's a lot of guys get the power pully's, I can't afford one so I don't know if they work though
