Hey guys...
Really dumb question from a new Ranger owner that I'm thinking is so common-sense that I can't find it on any of the forums...
I'm trying to find out if my truck bed is a long bed or a short bed. I measured it and the outer length of the bed is more than 6' but less than 7' (about 6 feet, 3 inches...or 75 feet), so which one is it? Is there another more accurate way to measure it?

If it helps, it's a 99 Ranger XLT extended cab...any chance that those are only short cabs or anything?

Thanks!

All extended cabs are short beds.

I have a long bed on my 89 regular cab Ranger and it measures exactly 7 feet - inside measurement- front to back. 4 1/2 feet inside side to side.
