I bought a set of James Duff header for my 302 powered Bronco II a couple of years ago, when they first came out with the ceramic coated ones. I finally got around to pulling my motor to do a little work on it. Turned out the center crank bearing was completely shot and had ruined the crank and block.:pissedoff: Now I have a new motor.:headbang: Anyway back to the headers, I have bad exhaust leaks on both sides near the back, when I first put them on I use some soft copper gaskets, I already pulled the starter side off and put in the white asbestos type that Duff sent with the headers. Still have bad leaks, does anybody have any suggestions?:dunno:

check the header flange with a staight edge, have them milled flat if necessary

You should try some 'permatex' high-temp copper silicone, I used it one my exhuast when it was leaking from the downpipe to the muffler, and never had a problem since!

A new gasket would do but make sure it's a copper gasket.. Copper gaskets provide a better seal but are a little more expensive
