I have currently skyjacker radius arms and was looking at the duff dual shock coil spring buckets and curious to know if anyone has used them with the skyjacker arms and if the shock mounts on the arms can work with the dual shocks

Minor mods should be able to accommodate it if they are the side by side behind spring and not fore and aft spring.

It is a great piece...duff did a good job on those.

Agreed, some modifications will be needed on the arms (possibly involving some welding), but it can be done.

However if you get good quality shocks for it (such as Fox or King) there shouldn't be any need to run duals. A single (good) shock offers better control and will have a better, less jarring ride (and will also eliminate having to modify anything on the radius arm, even if you decide to get the JD mounts for other reasons). Fox or King shocks can be a bit spendy ($200-280 or so ea. for the 2" variety nowadays), but remember you'd only be buying one shock per side, and they're rebuildable too, so it's possible they'll be the last shocks you buy (barring any subsequent modifications you do that alter the shock mounts after you've bought them).

I've had Fox 2.0 w/reservoir (valved 30/90) on the front of mine for 10 years, no regrets at all.

I have also looked into installing the duff dual shock buckets with my skyjacker kit. I don't know that you would have to do any welding, maybe some rivet removal.

Not sure there are many benefits other than a "tougher" spring bucket for hard wheeling.

The JD coil mounts make it easier to fit early Bronco or Jeep coil springs that have a lower PPI rate for more articulation.
