J.C. Whitney used to have a kit with wheel adapters and fender flares.

That would be cool if they still did it

I wonder how high the rear end gets kicked up when that axle hits a bump at freeway speeds?

thats neat, ive looked for kits but they are no longer available.

The kits generally were just a pipe that fit over the axle nub a around the wheel hub flange. The LUGs were the part that held all together. If you could get a machine shop to make these are not that hard to do. I thought about it when I looked at a kit for my old F250 when they were available. That is how they were able to use standard wheels with the adapters.

I thought it was cool lookin

That's sweet. I'm from around Mansfield and that would make my day if I seen that driving around. Wonder how that 4 cylinder does with them 4 rear wheels. Clean truck though, looks like an old man owned it so he probably just putted down the road not caring if it took 1 mile to get to 55 mph lol.

if the gearing is low enough, the extra tires wouldnt be noticeable, a healthy 2.3 with stock tires and 3.73's work pretty good, i went to 4.10's and have 235/75/15s on it now with no issues. it did have 3.45's with 225/70/14's and was sluggish.
i saw a ranger about 10 years ago with the dually fenders but really wide tires instead of the dual rear tire setup.
