Anyone have any pics of where they mounted dual batterys under the hood? Thinking about deleting the airbox and using a cone style filter and mounted the second battery over there.

The Neatest dual battery installation possible is one I've seen done on a 1993-94 Ranger.

The 1993-94's leave an empty space on the passenger side where the battery tray lives on the 1988-92's and nothing prevents you from cutting a stock battery tray and it's support brackets out of an '88-92 and bolting or welding them into a 1993-94.

Frankly the 1993-94 with an added 88-2 tray is a cleaner installation than that used on the 1983-84 or 1985-87 Diesel Rangers.

As I like to say about the "Standard" I strive for when doing a "modification"
I want it to look "like God and Henry Ford wanted it THERE"

On a 1995 or later you'd need to find another home for the cylindrical air cleaner that lives in that spot if you want to install your second batttery under the hood.
