Dual Battery Install, Alternator and Alternator Wiring Upgrade

I have a dual battery setup with one group 24 deep cycle for the aux loads (lights, amps, winch, compressor clutch) and one group 24 starting battery for all of the stock stuff. Running a surepower isolator and 200 amp 3g taurus alternator all connected with 2ga. I can crank tunes for hours on end before the battery voltage goes down enough to kick the amps into protect, the only part of the stereo that uses the main battery is the deck. It has proven to be a very robust and reliable system.

see the only problem i see with that is that i cant use both at the same time for the same load

Thats why I put a keyed switch between the 2 batteries to parallel them if I need to.
