Okay guys i burnt my #4 cyl. exhaust Valve at the begining of last month. I installed a new head on the left side of the engine. I installed new valve guide seals on the right side and replaced all gaskets and what not. The truck is running great, and feels totally different. Lots of crisp power.... for a 3.0 anyway. I almost wish i would have spent the extra $150 and did both heads. But anyway the truck runs great but in the morning when i start it to leave for work it will start with ease but then Richen itself to stay running and shoot from 750-800 Rpm's to like 2500 rpms, then slowly drop to an idle then it will either shoot back up or stall. Its almiost like it doesnt know if it is ready to idle. The engine light comes on after about 20-30 min. of driving. The codes i keep pulling are -
*DTC 121 Closed Throttle POS Out Of range
*DTC 176 EGO Not Switching, Lean EXH (Bank 2)
I replaced my TPS and stll receiving the code. Could i have recieved another faulty TPS or is there anything i can Do. Input is appreciated. What would you Guys try. Im guessing for DTC 176 I'll need a new O2 sensor, but idk what side bank 2 is though. but besided that what about the TPS code? Help!
