DTC/ABS code reader

Hi all,
I have a 2000 with abs faults my current code reader will not do abs codes. I am looking for a new code reader tested one at the auto parts store but it would not read ABS codes anyone with a suggestion/s

I have a INNOVA 3140. Its one of the only ones that reads full ABS/DTC codes on a larger scale than others I have tried. Even though others say they read all or most cars the list is very limited . It will read the codes of your year. It will also read codes from OBD1 cars/trucks. Its good for me as I still have my 94 but my families car are all OBD2. I think you will be happy with it. I also like their 3160 but it doesn't do OBD1. It's pretty pricey at around 180.00. I got mine at Amazon.

I can't help, but I did read the descriptions of the 3000 series. Only the 3150 and 3160 have abs and only the 3160 has obd2 data stream, but both don't read OBD1. IMO, for those wanting ABS get the 3160. OBD1 readers are about $15.

It was the 3160.3 also went online and updated firmware and still nothing.
Where is this elusive black/orange wire?

Wow, that's crazy it didn't work. I don't remember having to find a black/ orange wire either. Looks like the abs computer is faulty. Called my buddy that owns a shop to send me the Mitchel wire diagram. I will post it when I do.

Also I have never updated my firmware as they don't tell you what's being added or deleted. Sometime a function will go away.
