So, i am reading thru the threads and looking on line and have a few questions.
I did a 2" suspension lift with skyjacker 132xs' and i have had the front end aligned and the linkage is not following the center line of the front end.
I see 2" drop pitman arms on line, but they say 4-6 inch lift.
why?
where is the best place to purchase said pitman arm?
i was planning on d35 swap, but its not going to work out right now.

The 4 inch lift comes with a 2 inch drop. If that's all you need I'd get one from eBay or RC. Now there is an extreme drop pitman arm by superlift I believe. It's a 4 inch one. But it's gonna cost you about $90

:icon_confused:
is it because they expect that the 2" is all they expect youll need for the 4" lift to make it level and it dos'nt really drop the linkage the 4"
:dunno:
im an old fart and trying to get this thru the gray matter.:D

yeah it makes no sense, i called joey are RC and he just laughed and said he didn't understand it either.. which it does not make sense and he realized that but he said, that is just what is included in our kit.

Unless your 2" lift has 2" dropped axle pivot brackets, you shouldn't really need a drop arm for it.

Are you experiencing real bad bumpsteer?

me... yes, lol. i know you weren't asking me though... i don't think the OP has a lift at all yet, he is just asking questions on what all he will need

you DO NOT need a drop pitman arm for those.... i have them and still handles like stock.... actually better.

i do have exploder leafs in the rear and leveling coils in the front. I bought 2 new tires in feb and they are pretty scrubbed on the shoulder of the tire. it was aligned and 2deg bushings installed.
i have about 2.5 inches of lift over stock.
as far as bump steer the vehicle tracks pretty true.

thanks for the input 4.0b2.

It sounds to me like simply poor alignment (bad toe most likely). I'd either have the shop that aligned it redo it (I think they owe you something for your tires too, though good luck getting anything out of them), or find another shop to look at it if the first one isn't competent enough to handle it (which is fairly common when it comes to Ford Twin-Beam suspensions).
