I always did my own, and that being said, I would charge someone at least a couple hundred or so. The rivets they use for the stock brackets can be a PITA sometimes. Once the rivets are knocked out and the old bracket removed, its a simple bolt up operation.
I used extended arms on my Explorer and my Ranger still uses the stock arms. I dont remember having to drill or elongate any holes. Both were SuperLift kits. The only problems I ever had was the passenger side TTB brackets breaking
My fix for this....
Both my Explorer and Ranger did this. Basically the same kit (4" Superlift). I added the gussets like is on the SkyJacker brackets.
