If I were to get extended radius arms, would I no longer need the drop brackets that are currently on my truck?

No you won't
just extend them back to the frame with the right alignment stuff and you'll be fine.

Damn, and I thought I would never need those stock brackets again...
Well, thanks a lot man.

he means you won't need the stock crossmember or drop brackets, it'll pretty much be all custom back there afterwards.

Correct, so I will need stock suspension brackets and I will be using the crossmember that comes with the kit. I may have it all wrong though...

I'm making my own brackets...but I'm also using Flex Joints.

if you use the stock bushing setup, you can use the stock brackets... lots of people do it, some people make their own custom brackets that tie into the transmission crossmember. its really up to you how you finish it up.

If you're buying extended radius arms as a kit, you won't need any of the old stock radius arm hardware, it's all replaced by the extended arm stuff.

Sorry, I may have the totally wrong idea, or I suck at explaining it, but I was referring to the drop brackets for the front axle pivot. I will have to ditch those and use stock front axle pivot brackets; to my understanding.

no, no, no....You will still need the pivot drop brackets.

this.

you won't need the radius arm drop brackets anymore
you will still need the axle pivotnly drop brackets.

the only way to get rid of the axle pivot drop brackets is to put the stock coils back in it (unlift it) or do cut and turn beams
