driving to the north pole

Yeah well owing to the fact you have never seen nor driven it I would think that you might not care... Because it can. I mean Your WONDERFUL toyota going through places a purpose built mud truck gets stuck on 40's? PLease save the BS. Atleast I don't admit to things that probably aren't true. Besides after driving toyotas I ;love my old ranger for 2 reasons... 1. I got it for free and I like the way it looks alot better then the rusted out toyota crap up here. 2. It has manual everything and has never let me down.

Oh and the yotos I drove yes they have more power probably but i really don't care when it feels like I'm gonna rip the rusted stick shift through the floorboards every time I have to shift.
Oh./ You're comparing a truck on 40's and obviously lifted? That's relevant. My fathers Piper Cub can go places your truck can't go. That's just as relevant.

Jason, please stfu all you do is bitch about what anyone has to say, / yourself.

I bitch about lies and misinformation. I hate when uniformed people spout off like they know what they are talking about.

Ignorance poisons any discussion.

Its a little different using a phone, you ever think about that? Prob not lol@u

You almost did it there. I don't see how it's different, it just takes longer.

Hahaha your arguing about this stuff on a phone? lol

Jasons views may be right about some of the issues but he is kinda just being a major douche right now... way to go jason.:D

Why do you say I am being a douche? Because I don't think the Ranger is the BEST truck?

Listen. The Ranger is a good truck for the money but it IS NOT the best truck out there.

No... wait maybe that was someone else...? I don't know I was rading a post somewhere a guy was like My stock toyota was going trough all the places people were getting stuck in big trucks... I was calling that BS. I know a super cub obviously could get places my truck can't. This is jsut kinda reminding me of all the people that started to argue 2wd places could go more places then a 4x4. Obviously they can't they can do somethings better then a 4x4 but over all its not a 4x4... and... this has little to no relevence to whatever we were arguing about. lol

NO, I never said the ranger was the best truck either. Just the fact you seem to rag on it especially your comment I've heard that a thousand times. when I was saying a toyota and a ranger with the exact same equipment would more or less be able to do the same things. IE my 84 would be just as good as any toyota with the same options because essentially its the same truck.

No Offence ment by calling you a douche i was just kinda playin around. Beer?:icon_thumby:

THere really is no best truck out there. its just whatever people prefer and how they drive it. I'm Getting sick and tired of these arguments people start up. A ranger with a good driver off road is going to do better then a first time kid with a toyota off road. And the other way around if the toyota has a good driver obviously its gonna be better. a stock ranger or toyota can probably do just as good as a jacked up lockers one, it all depends on the driver!

EDIT: and theres this thing called multiquote right next to the quote button. lol

Ok. Now I got ya.

2wd off-road? I have seen it a few times. Normally on the end of a yellow strap in my rear view getting mud thrown on it. :D

Haha yeah! Pulled out 2 2wd this morning actually. they were both trying to prove which one was better in an unplowed parkinglot... they both got stuck :icon_rofl:

...I love my 4x4, but ultimately, you can get stuck farther. Like this winter, when I got stuck 200 ft into a snowdrift. It took us an hour to pull my truck out, using 200ft worth of chains and straps. If I had been driving a 2wd, I would have gotten stuck only 25ft into the snow drift, and it would have taken us 5 minutes to pull me out.

Just Saying...

True, I only use my 4x4 when I absolutely have to just to avoid situations like that. Generally if I can't make it in 2wd and I got a long ways to go its not worth it. Its actually another one of those things where its more about the driver... i remember the argument with l4 and v6. they guys were like i have an l4 therefore i can't get in trouble. but you can get in just as much trouble because your not as carful as a v6 who knows he probably could.

Nevermind guys i was wrong tacomas are better, rangers dont come with dual t cases, 35s,locked front and rear and 7.88s for gears like those badass 4x4 japanese made shit does, sorry i guess i should have read up more. They are king anywhere they go, with 25 inches of travel on their ifs man who needs a solid axel, i bet half of you guys dont even drive off road, let along ever leave the city.

Well concidering I live in Alaskan Country I think I know how to drive in snow and what works better. Not to mention hunting and camping trails. The cities are... non exisitant here man.

The tacoma has what? Not from the factory for sure! Thats probably an aftermarket company that takes stock trucks and turns them into offroad purpose built rigs.

He was being sarcastic I think. It's hard to grasp it when people communicate in the written form that really can't. It's like playing charades with someone having a seizure around here sometimes.

I will point out, my Tacoma has the TRD package and that includes a real locker for the rear and an onboard inverter that's great for keeping the cordless impact charged or running work lights. Handy when someone loses 4wd or a wheel bearing. Take that! lol
