I wanna do a swap on a 94 3.0 auto,ext cab ,2wd. <one piece swap>
Does anybody know the weld to weld distance for that truck?

I dont know what size i need.

The auto and the manual are the same lenght right?
Is that just bold on?
I think the steel ones are and the alu s are not?
Is it on the right angle right away?

Anybody knows? ,,Thanks

Why do you want to get rid of your 2 piece?

i found out in reg cabs (and prob ext cabs as well) that auto and manual drive shafts are not the same length. plus, the yokes are different. so you'll need to find one from a 2wd ext cab with an auto trans.

Yes, on a 2WD, transmission does matter. You'll need a shaft from another automatic Supercab truck if that's what yours is.

The whole bearring kinda came off/out..Just the hole left
My dad was driving it, he tried to drive it for a few yards further when it broke. The axle is just flopping around in there like a ....:icon_surprised:

Then the towtruck towed it on the front wheels.
And that $$%#$ it up even more, with the shaft still spinning.
Almost cracked the whole crossmember off.
Thats why i want the carrier bearring gone.

Shaft hit one off the tankstraps completely off..Verry lucky..my dad filled her right up to the rim ..off course..Any way to get that out fast? :icon_welder:
"A match" :would s/he say .:offtopic:

Its a rusty old thing<Canada>, its slow, can t haul ass, its 2wd, but i can t junk it.I have a love/hate relationship with that Ranger .
I m ahead off her now, next is the fuelpump and then the alternator ore so.
I think i spend more time under it then driving it,,,awww,, its fun when she goes...

The junkyard asked for the weld to weld.
The shaft is still on the truck,i just want to get a shaft...but the right one.

PS: srry fur any bad inglish.Dutch canadian..
