As many of you know or can tell I have a 5.0. No big deal;however, I am going AWD. What I need to know is, what is the length of the rear driveshaft of an extended cab? i need an actual measurement not a I think this will work response.

I'll check it when I get home. My truck is in dry-dock because the inside gets wet.

It's 79.333, repeating of course

That sounds long. I get only 55 1/8th out of a 2-piece unit. I think the 1 piece is a hair shorter.

Listen here boy wonder, I want a really answer not some BS answer.

I forgot to add that it needs to be a 5.0 w/ 4R70W and transfer case on a extended cab.

Boy that really eliminates a lot of swappers. Only one that come to mind is Bob Rwenzing but he has the 4406, can't remember cab size. Good luck!
