I have a 95 ranger 4.0 4x4 supercab with a manual transmission and electric shift transfer case. I was wondering if the front drive shaft out of 94 or 95 explorer with a 4.0 and an auto trans and electric shift transfer case would fit in my ranger? Thanks

i believe the 91-5 exploders all work. my passenger axle shaft is from a 94 sploder

The front driveshaft from a 91-94 Ford Explorer will work.

In 1995 the front axle in the explorers went to SLA IFS while the Ranger carried on with TTB IFS till 97'. So 95' and up explorer and 98' and up Ranger driveshafts are different.
