ive got this 85 bronco 2 with 5 inches of lift....When i bought it the double spicer joint was bad ..so i got this truck for a song, i replaced all u joints in it and rebuilt the centering joint ..it was good for about a month but is starting to make noise again..is there a better drive to get or is there something im missing, is the cv style better is is the 2 joint better than my 3 joint shaft help plese, theis truck only has 83000 original 1 owner miles and was a gift to my 16 year old son.......please any help is good

The CV shafts aren't worth their weight in scrap, so put that idea out of your head right now.

The 2 joint and 3 joint shafts are pretty much on par for quality. The 3 joint might even be a little better if you have a lift.

I would start questioning the quality of the lift job. Was the rear axle tipped to correct the pinion angle? If not it may be putting too much stress on the u-joints and wearing them out faster.
