Owing to some oopsie, my original marks for the alignment of the flange connection are no longer visible.
How crucial is it that it's bolted the same way to the flange? The rest of the shaft is in balance, but do I need to worry about the pinion flange orientation, or just ignore it, or make new marks..

I've oopsed mine a few times too, on drive shafts and axle shafts. I've tried to make sure the u-joints at each end are mirror images of each other, thinking that would keep them in 'phase'.
Seems to have worked so far. Good luck,
Richard

Looks like it worked. Tested it at a steady 25/35/45 and no vibrations or anything.

Now I just need to get hardware for the rear bumper and it'll be on the road again... :)
