Driver door window problem

Hey all!
I tried to roll up my window the other night and it went up crooked. I had to roll it back down and hold it straight to get it to go up.

I pulled it all apart tonight and finally figured out that the cradle that holds the glass rides up and down on a vertical track. The bottom of the cradle was still attached to the track, but the top had popped loose. Therefore the window was allowed to pivot in any direction it felt like it.

Anyway, the cradle attachent to the track looks like a round ball and it pops into a rubber grommit on the track. It looks like the rubber grommet on my track is worn and broken. Can I just buy this part or will I need the whole assembly? I've looked on LMC and can't seem to find it for my year. I see one listed for a 1993-2010 Ranger, but nothing for me!

Just a follow up.

Napa carries them. I took them to my local NAPA and the douche behind the counter just looked at them, looked at me, and says, "Nope, we ain't got them"

So after I called Ford, she says they are obosolete. She calls her NAPA store and then proceeds to call me back with the NAPA part number. Now that's what I call service! $9 for two of them at NAPA.

Anyway, I am going to return them thought, because in the process of putting the window back in I could not find the correct rivots and when I used bolts I accidently tightened them too much and shattered the glass.

When I got one from the junkyard for $35 it came with the bracket and the sliders where good in it.

Ought to put the napa #'s up here so somebody else down the road won't hafta go to all the trouble you did to find the part.........

this happened to mine so I cranked it til I heard something break off in the door and now it works haha I dunno what it was yet I havent checked but so far nothing has gone bad

I would gladly post up the Napa numbers, but I took the parts back the next day and did not think at the time to write them down. But, Napa does carry them for sure.

Could this problem effect the window regulator? I just replaced mine and it's already stripped at the track where the window is all the way rolled down. The window motor also doesn't stop when the window is all the way rolled down. Any ideas?
