Driveline vibration. '96 3.0L Supercab 2wd, stick, two piece driveshaft.

Eddo,
not available in my area. Junk yard chain uses forklifts to move vehicles around, and damages virtually all driveshafts when they lift it. Those long one piece shafts are positioned below the frame right where they lift the truck. Crunch!

I'm in the junkyard mecca and didn't have luck either. Ordered off fleabay. Got the steel one. It needed new u joint and cleanup, but the price was right...about $100 and change shipped.

Glad you found it! Had a bad experience with my first carrier bearing! Young and dumb lol! 1 piece driveshaft will solve the problem! Deleting the bearing all together!

I had same problem with my 95 ranger. After replacing carrier bearing twice, and needing to do it a third time, swapped a one-piece aluminum shaft from a 97 in place. Had to cut out old bearing mounts and a bit of mod to floorpan for new shaft bigger diameter, but works great.
